Calling all Toddlers, Preschoolers and Kindergartners! The Circus is on its way!

Music, circus performers, pony rides, bounce house, trampoline, petting zoo, face painting, dunk tank, magician, carnival games, food trucks, and more! This event is a homespun circus on a grand scale that year after year draws young families region-wide for a day of fun and community gathering.  You won’t want to miss it!

WHEN:  Saturday, April 21st, 2018 from 10am-2pm
WHERE:  Mercer Island High School, 9100 SE 42nd St.
WHO/WHAT:  Kids, ages 2-8, and families will be entertained with Recess Monkeys, Nancy Stewart, SANCA, MIHS Cheerleaders & Drill Team, pony rides, bounce house, and more.
COST*:   All access wrist band for kids (parents free) are $15 non-member and $10 for MIPA members.

Come hungry!
Food trucks/vendors will be joining us at Circus.  Grab lunch or a treat at one of our vendors, which will be located in the MIHS front parking lot.

Enjoy delicious food from Delfinos Pizza, The Ultimate Melt (grilled cheeses), Buns (burgers), Nibbles (soups/sandwiches), and Street Donuts.

History

MIPA’s Circus began in 1966 as a Dr. Seuss-inspired carnival called Circus McGurkus for the children of Mercer Island.  Since then, it has grown into a festival that attracts hundreds of families from all over Seattle and the Eastside.

    1 – Friday evening, April 20th, 4:15-8:30 PM (set-up – Free pizza!)

    2 – Saturday, April 21st, 9:30 AM-12:15 PM (Circus!)

    3 – Saturday, April 21st, 12:00 PM – 2:30 PM (Circus!)

    4 – Saturday, April 21st, 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM (clean-up- free snacks!)
